I have lived with chronic illness for over a decade.  I have battled with debilitating fatigue, self-esteem breaking brain fog, joint pain so deep no over the counter drug could reach it, bloating so bad that I thought my stomach was going to bust open, chronic sinus infections, migraines, irritable bowl, hives, cramping, blurry vision, dry eyes and the list goes.  When friends asked what was wrong all I could think of to describe what I had was "My Mystery Illness".  Every doctor I saw said I was fine and every blood work I had done came back normal.

I was originally one of those skeptics who was on the fence about using a Health Coach, especially since I felt like I was already in a healthy place in my life.  I just felt run down and had trouble staying motivated thinking how could a health coach help that?  I finally decided it couldn’t hurt and after Stephanie had approached me offering a free consultation, I decided to hear her out.   When I started working with Stephanie I learned so much about myself and habits I’d developed that I never knew and couldn’t see before. 

Stephanie is amazing, once a week for one hour we had a call or video session and each time she was able to make me really look inside myself and no matter what we talked about, she never judged or told me I was wrong.  She simply tailored the focus to what it was that I wanted to change about myself.  She is very easy to talk to and puts things in a perspective that I would never have been able to do on my own. 

Unlike counseling, Stephanie gets into who you are, what your goals are and why you aren’t achieving them.  She uncovers the layers of what’s not working and why. She can reveal to you the root of the cause and creates a plan to get you back on track.  With a clear and set starting point you slowly work one on one with her to eliminate the habits and behaviors that are holding you back.  She sets up clear and concise steps for you to incorporate into your everyday life that does not take time away from your day.   She will explain the challenges and obstacles holding you back…even if you don’t really know what those are.  She will help you discover why you have developed them and work with you to retrain your brain to overcome those challenges and break the habits that are preventing you from being who you really are.  The best part for me, is that she supports you all the way through the journey, helps you become accountable for your actions, and allows you to understand yourself and why you do the things you do.
